Two of SLUGFEST’s most impressive big men will collide when Chattanooga’s George Parks faces Crossville’s Michael “The Beast” Baker for the inaugural SLUGFEST Super Heavyweight Championship at Tennessee SLUGFEST 9: Return to Sparta.

Baker enters the championship showdown with a 6-1 record and one of the hottest winning streaks in SLUGFEST.

“The Beast” began his fighting career on February 7 at Tennessee Toughman 1, where he entered a 16-man tournament and competed twice in one night. Baker won his opening fight before suffering the only loss of his career in his second tournament bout.

He has not lost since.

Baker has ripped through every opponent placed in front of him since that night, collecting five consecutive victories and quickly becoming one of the biggest fan favorites in SLUGFEST. His relentless, always-moving-forward fighting style has earned him the nickname “The Beast”—and he has lived up to it every time he has stepped inside the cage.

Now, after working his way to a 6-1 record, Baker has the opportunity to become the first SLUGFEST Super Heavyweight Champion.
